* promotes interest in cultural activities in a multicultural environment* promotes intercultural, intergenerational relations and introduces young and old to aesthetic, ethical values in all cultures
* helps seniors in the community overcome isolation, introduces them to services available to help them live independently
* holds cultural shows, group activities (workshops, camping, tours)
* provides recreational activities, study sessions, health education programs at the Seniors Centre
* has a library with books, magazines, video tapes on religion, entertainment
