* raises awareness of human rights issues* provides advocacy tools locally as well as supporting Amnesty International Canada
* promotes global awareness and action on human rights issues, including working to free prisoners of conscience
* holds monthly letter writing meetings
* hosts specials activities and events including: the annual Run for Rights fundraiser, speaker meetings, workshops, public speaking, action on specific human rights campaigns.
