Service Description* supports low income, homeless, at risk individuals needing assistance / referral to appropriate supports
* has hamper program for individuals, couples or families of any size with an initial intake to self-assess need and other available supports. Food hampers are a supplement to the household food budget. Supply is based on donations
* offers short term support to deal with immediate situations, often with referrals for sheltering, personal, addiction, and/or medical supports; Key supports include literacy, numeracy, computer training, skill development and hands on training and certifications to get people matched to jobs and ultimately self-sufficient. Some counselling and mentorship support may be available. Volunteer opportunities offer skill development and potential references for a CV.
* Food is available for those with no cooking facilities, travelers, and some assistance for special dietary requirements. Baby food is also available. Bread and potatoes can be picked up most days without an appointment.Some personal hygiene items are available.
