Service Description
During the Covid-19 pandemic we have handed out seed kits, posted a video online, and have opened for community garden applications for community members to work in the garden areas, with social distancing in place. Consult our website for curther updates.* coordinates 11 Community Gardening plots located within the Spence neighbourhood
* has garden leaders in each of our community gardens, who facilitate work days, garden meetings, mentor new gardeners, liaison with the Environment and Open Spaces Coordinator at SNA

for garden plots complete our on-line Gardener Application Form, or pick one up at our 615 Ellice officefor information on community gardening phone, or email: greenimage@spenceneighbourhood.orgGardening Applications are generally due by mid April for returning SNA gardeners, and 2 weeks later for New gardenersPriority is given to returning gardeners that have stewarded their garden well in previous years; then to community residents who do not have access to yard space; then to community residents who would like more garden space
