- * helps clients get foundation identification documents (Canadian issued Birth Certificate); bank account (a community referral to Assiniboine Credit Union); driver licence through our Adult Driver Education Course
* helps clients get their Canadian social insurance number (SIN)
* helps clients get MPI (Manitoba Public Insurance) Photo ID (Identification) card, SCIS (Secure Certificate of Indigenous Status) card, MMF (Manitoba Metis Federation) card, other identification - Eligibility
- Primarily serves adults; will work with youth as young as 15 years old, mainly if they are looking for work or in order to access their Canadian social insurance number (SIN).
Can assist with youth and children's birth certificates if client is actively receiving EIA. - Application Process
- to book an appointment for service a client MUST be referred by one of our community referral partners. A list of community referral partners is available on our Facebook page. If the client is actively on EIA the referral must be received from EIA
The referral form is emailed, faxed or brought to our offices in person in order for the client to book and appointment for intake
Once the referral is sent, the onus is on the client to contact us - by phone or in person, to book their appointment for intake
