responds to chemical, microbiological and social public health issues. Monitors and participates in a coordinated response to environmental health issues including environmental health risk assessment, food protection, environmentally infectious diseases, and dental/oral health. Calls regarding food complaints, food-borne illness, smoking in public places should be referred to 204-945-4204.Dental health promotion: monitors and funds community water fluoridation systems, and provides information regarding oral health programs in Manitoba.Food Protection Program: is concerned with any food complaints or food borne diseases and is responsible for enforcement of regulations concerning food products. Can provide information to the public concerning food quality and safety.
