* provides students with opportunities to receive career-related work experience.Career Options for Students with Disabilities: Creates summer employment opportunities between April and August within the provincial government for students with disabilities.Hometown Green Team: Encourages local governments to hire youth to work on improving / maintaining local park facilities.Manitoba Youth Job Centres: Increases summer employment opportunities for students and youth.Partners With Youth: Partners with Winnipeg and rural organizations to deliver projects that will improve participant's employability, prepare them for further training, job search or result in employment.Part-Time STEP: Registers students and refers them to part-time jobs with the provincial government.Urban Green Team: Provides funding to Winnipeg not-for--profit organizations who initiate community development projects which employ Winnipeg youth.Volunteers in Public Service (VIPS): Provides placement in career-related volunteer positions within the provincial government.Young Entrepreneurs: Encourages youth to start their own full-time business.
